The footage is shot on a digital handheld camera, 480p at 29.97 fps, no audio. A stationary shot, likely tripod-mounted, peering straight down a dirt road flanked by Pacific Northwest rainforest. Midday, bright sun. The road stretches for about two hundred feet, ending with an abrupt wall of trees.

Nothing of note happens until the 5m 27s mark, when branches in the wall of dead-end trees begin to jostle. A dark figure emerges, humanoid in shape. Most estimates put it around 6'10" to 7'2" tall. But it is narrow in frame, with an apparent shoulder width somewhere between 1'2" and 1'6". Its head is bulbous in appearance, like a water balloon being squeezed at the bottom.

Any other features are concealed by the shadows of the forest, but the shifting sunlight beaming through the trees occasionally catches the figure's left shoulder, revealing its skin (or clothing) to be light gray in appearance–there is debate on this color, as some say the true raw footage shows a pale blue, but due to the "accidental" deletion of the raw files, this has never been confirmed or debunked.

The figure walks directly toward the camera with painstakingly slow movement. If not for the occasional breeze pushing through the surrounding woods, one might assume the footage to be slowed down. The figure's feet step one directly in front of the other, as though it is walking along an unseen tight rope. And its arms, which don't appear to have hands, hang limply at its sides.

The figure takes about one minute to walk a mere fifty feet, at which point a red Dodge Pickup truck (a Ram D150) drives into frame. The license plate is hidden by a caked layer of mud. The truck rolls to a stop directly beside the figure. The figure does not react to the truck's presence, it only continues its slow march forward.

The passenger side window rolls down, and a .410 shotgun emerges from the dark within. The passenger wielding the gun wears a green padded jacket, and we can only see their arms. They aim the gun, and pull the trigger–a direct shot to the side of the figure's head. The figure staggers sideways three steps, but otherwise appears unaffected. It continues to walk.

The truck rolls into a slow reverse, matching the figure's pace. The gunman lines up for a second shot and fires another round directly into the figure's head. This time it falls over, tumbling onto its shoulder, then slumping face first into the dirt. It lays there, unmoving for about three seconds, until it begins to crawl toward the camera.

The passenger's side door cracks open, and the footage cuts to black.
